Concert features John “Muddy” Waters of Jacksonville, Florida, offering a wide range of music from island reggae to mellow jazz, right in our own backyard! Combining New Orleans-styled rhythms, reggae back beats, and blues tingled guitar, John ‘Muddy” Waters and the Bush Doctors charge their audiences with their high energy shows. From tight jazzy instrumental arrangements to marathon dance jams, to the latest hot tune that everyone wants to hear, the Bush Doctors run the gamut of musical styles, superbly adapting to their audience. These hip medicine men have solved the dilemma of having to play mostly cover tunes by forging a fiercely original sound-a-fusion of reggae, rock, jazz, and world music.
